To me it should be more focused on the milestones rather than the piddly crap like testing parts.

So are there any mods that make career mode actually fun and worth playing? and because of this I have never played career mode much past this point and I've had KSP for a couple years now. which is all slow, repetitive, pointless, and tedious. Then you are pretty much screwed and just have to run around the space center slowly doing EVAs and science experiments at each building and within each level of atmosphere. I think thats about when you've unlocked all research that costs 45 science. By that I mean, at a certain point fairly early in the game you start running out of ways to earn science. But it really kills it for me when the poor balancing of the career mode stumps you. I could still get by with those problems. The only missions that seem to be worth doing are ferrying tourists.

Exploring Kerbin or doing the focused observational surveys is beyond boring as there is nothing to see and the reward isnt worth it. Testing parts is just lame and in some cases way too tedious to be worth the work. but I find the missions are incredibly repetitive. And KSP seems to just fall real flat in the career mode. And thats really sad because tycoon games are my absolute favorite genre. But thats mainly just for the sandbox mode. its within my top 5 favorite games of all time.
